Merry Christmas!
Went to a Christmas party the other night that I thought would be fun, but it ended up sucking. Maybe I'll write more later.

Where is my mind?

12/12/08
It's no myth
So I haven't posted in a while for two reasons. First off I've been working a ton and that has been great. Secondly, I've been sick with God knows what the past week and a half. Not this past Monday, but last Monday, I was sure I was getting the flu. However, I didn't get the flu and felt fine from Wednesday all through the weekend until this Monday, when I felt like hell again. So basically this week, I've either been at work or in bed. My joints are stiff, but I don't know if it's because I'm sick or because I've been in bed so much. Usually at work I get moving around and get my blood pumping and then I feel somewhat alright, but I know as soon as I get home I'm going straight to bed. The other day I think I slept like 18 hours.
So anyway, this past weekend I worked and it was crazy fun! Saturday night we were there super late and we had a great time. I'd like to recap all the fun but there was too much. Bah... I'd like to write more, but I'm sick. I'm going back to bed.

What's the deal with this album?
A few months ago on The Best Show Riyadh from Vegas talked about this guy. It's not WALL-E. Anyway, this album is really good. What's weird is that I hadn't planned on getting this until yesterday, when I saw that it made the best of '08 list in Blender, a mag that totally sucks, complete opposite of this album. I was intrigued by the cover and the concept when I read about it weeks ago initially. So then I was like what the heck and got it and it's really cool. It's strange that somebody would do a mixtape that's kind of a concept tribute or deconstruction of Seinfeld, but it really works. It's still shocking to hear Michael Richards go off even two (?) years later. That was brutal.

Nana made you this monkey
Work has been really cool lately, but the other day I had beverages and thought that it broke bad. It didn't really, I just think that for some reason. It's whatever, I guess.
Man, Christmas is totally on its way and I cannot seem to get psyched on that. I think this Christmas is going to be the craziest and most stressed out of all. My Dad might be showing up in an RV. I wonder when he'll want to leave on his cross country trek? I don't think I can go because I just realized today that it makes no sense for me to go. I don't have the time and there are a few other factors at hand too. Maybe I would go if I had like $10,000, but I don't. It's bullshit.

When black Friday comes....!
So today I went out and did a little shopping and that was fun. Super hot girls at the mall, which was like "Whaaaaaaaaat?!" Holy smokes. Then I went over and chilled with my friend's stepdad and mom. We had a pretty good time watching a rerun of the old Daniel Boone TV show. Then I came home and waited to go out to dinner which was at 8:30. I was starving and on top of that we were going to Outback, an establishment where I'd never previously dined. I thought that was alright, but I got this weird salad that had fries in it and was lacking in the steak dept.
I did a new artwork that I thought was alright. The colors took me forever to get right, but I accidentally deleted it. I never accidentally delete stuff, so I'm kind of bummed on that.
11/24/08
Last night I cleaned up my hard drive a bit. I really need an external jobbie though because my iPod has only been two thirds full since I got it. Granted that's still 3,400 songs, so I'm getting by. Yesterday's last post was just this art thing I did in MS Paint because I fuck with that waaayyy too much. I thought when you clicked it it would open up to full size, which is really huge, but I guess Picasa shrank it down. If that was printed on a wall I think it would be about 7ft. long. Oh well, I think I'll do more colored square drawings in the future. They titillate me.

I am the chimpy child on who fortune has smiled
On thursday night I got this live album by Sean Cullen, a Canadian comic that I've heard about for a long time (mostly from NNF), but whose stuff I had never come across before. The album is called Live and it's really, really great. I'm just listening to it for the second time, but at the end of the first listen I was thinking that it might be the best stand up album I've ever heard.
Tonight at work shit was chill. Nothing else to add to that really. I owe people emails. I've been listening to more oldies. Be sure to vote in my first ever readers's poll!
Also, I said that I would put up an episode of Never Not Funny. This is a good one, which I think is from early September. It has my favorite guest, Pat Francis and I think it's a great episode for people who are new to the show. Go subscribe in iTunes or go to Pardcast.com and sign up for the primo. Best of luck to you!
Here's a Sean Cullen video of two good songs.

Yes!

"From Jimmy Pardo's hit podcast "Never Not Funny," it's the T-shirt everyone's asking for. Now you, too, can convey exasperation when a friend or loved one is unable to grasp the concept of popcorn served in a bag. The stunning retro logo design has been painstakingly weathered to evoke a bygone era when bagged popcorn was the exception, not the rule. Screen printed on the softest, smoothest and best-looking red American Apparel 100% cotton jersey tee. $20"
If I read AST more often, I would have known about this and posted it with the 'Bag o' corn, friend!' post. I want my blog to be the number one search result for the words 'bag', 'corn' and 'friend'. Just either of those words on their own. Anyway, check the AST store for more 'Bag o' corn, friend' related products. Yes, they have a chip clip!
I know you would
Hanging out with Ryan and Jess was really fun and I even got to see Mike for a little while. We cracked jokes and watched Prison Break, which is the most insane show I've ever seen. They do stuff on that show that couldn't ever really happen. It's so inane. Then we watched some live Queen on Ondemand and that was incredible. We planned to exchange gifts for Christmas and I think that will totally rock. Later we watched Scream Queens on VH1. Watching most TV is a good reminder for me of why I barely watch any TV. I'm just on the internet all the time.
Today was just whatever. I have to work at 11am tomorrow, which is early for me. I hate working during the day time because the atmosphere is kind of lame, but I might be working with a girl I get along good with, so that could be fun. I guess it's just the lunch crowd that I don't like dealing with. Take the good with the bad, I guess.
I decided not to put up a playlist because really, who gives a shit, but I will upload this song that I've been loving lately. I seem to be on a real 2006 kick for some reason. Listening to songs from back then reminds me of when I could travel. This song reminds me of going to Colorado even though most of the time I was out there I was listening to Johnny Cash. Anyway, check out this song, it's awesome.

Ahh,..... the internet
I've gotten a surprisingly high number of hits since my last post. The phrase, taken from episode 319 (I'm pretty sure) of the award winning podcast Never Not Funny, is just so fun to say. It's even more fun to shout. If you've never heard the show, you don't know what you're missing. I never thought I would pay for a podcast, but after about 90 solidly hilarious episodes of the pardcast I had no chance but to sign the fuck up and follow Jimmy, Matt and 3rd chair Pat Francis (my favorite guest!) into the next stage. At less than $.77 an episode why wouldn't I? I need to find out what shitty concert Jimmy's going to next. In just a few short months I will have been listening to Never Not Funny for three years. Boy, did the time fly. If you're not into paying for the podcast yet, you can still download the first 20 minutes of each episode from iTunes. Just look under comedy podcasts.
I'll probably put up an episode later in the week as a sampler.
What else? I've got to change the header graphic again. This one seems like it's been up forever. I blame that on the fact that I've been spending way too much time dicking around on the internet lately. I've been listening to a ton of new music lately though and that's been good. I think that later this week, maybe later today I'm going to put up a playlist. Be like McCain's daughter.
Work tonight was chill. Right before work was Pineapple Express, so that was cool. At work this old dude totally walked out on his check. That kind of sucked. Mostly tonight I just chilled while everybody played Mariokart on these two DSes(?) these girls brought in. I didn't know that DSes could play each other via WiFi. That was cool. Also at work in one of the refrigerators I found my toy black Berettas from my Halloween costume. Sweet. I'm off the next two days. Woo hoo!

Bag o' corn, friend!
I had to work yesterday and that was pretty cool, but we were dead so nobody really made any money. I finished up early, came home and I think I was in bed by like 12. Tomorrow is going to be awesome. We have the awesomest crew and Sundays are always chill. Also, I checked my bank account and I have more money than I thought I did, so that rocks.
I don't really have anything to say at all, so I don't know why I'm posting. At work yesterday I realized that the laziest guitar solo in the history of recorded music is during Oasis' Don't Go Away, right after the line "Me and you, what's goin' on?" That's a pretty lazy song in general. I can't find a video that I can embed here. I don't want to put Oasis on my blog, anyway. I work with this dude who really likes them, so I get to hear them all the time. They're not terrible, I just don't particularly like them. Anyway, if you hear Don't Go Away, listen for the guitar part. Actually, you won't have to listen that closely because it'll jump out at you. It's that uncreative and sloppy.

Here we go with an edit!

TV On The Radio - Return To Cookie Mountain
I uploaded this for a guy at work tonight so I figured I'd post it here once again, as I did when it first came out in 2006 (old blog). This is a really fantastic album if you haven't already heard it. Lately I have been itching to hear it. It's ironic too because as much as I love this record I am just now listening to the new one, Dear Science, which I've had for about two months it seems. The new album's good, but Return To Cookie Mountain is better.

Jay Reatard - Singles 06-07
This is pretty good too if you like his stuff. I loved Blood Visions. It's definitely linked to a certain time for me and that's what can make an album just amazing sometimes.
Anyway, today I didn't do anything except work and read the newspaper. Work was great except for a few small problems. I thought I did alright, but later figured I came up about ten bucks short on the night. I did eat a great steak though.
At work we are all in the habit of reading our horoscopes and comparing the number of stars we have for the day. Today I had five stars (which I always seem to, go figure) and the little 'Tonight:' thing said 'talking over dinner'. Talking over dinner is what I see every night, so what's up? But then I had dinner with a friend and it ended up being cool.
I made a candy run midway through the night and found the most awesome Laffy Taffy thats shaped like a Slim Jim. Bought 8 of those even though I was really looking for a new Twizzlers product called Twerps which are super good. My friend at work said he was wild about Twerps but had begun to wonder if they weren't just around for a limited time (to appeal to the college kids?). Twerps are like a much bigger Twizzler with crazy filling in the middle. They're not long like a Twizzler though, they're just a half inch section of one (think Nib). My friend said what he liked about them was the continuation of the idea that started with Bonkers in the '80s. Get two different textures of gummy stuff and combine them. That's my take on everything.
At work tonight there was trivia and this question had nearly everyone stumped for about twenty minutes. Everyone had the first two, which you dear reader, will no doubt get in seconds flat but the third one is pretty tough. Check it:
What are the top three highest grossing movie franchises where every major character is British?
They can be played by Americans or whoever but the characters are British. Franchises, people. Highest grossing.
So Barack Obama! Here we go, ladies and gentlemen!

Weird weekend
Not much to say about the party Friday night. The coolest part about that was that we walked to a riverfront bar using the crazy railroad access roads and bridges that link this part of Lemoyne to the street that runs along the river. That was cool. No girls at this party though, which it really could have used.
Yesterday was chill, but I was feeling a little hungover. I never get a hangover, so when I do it really puts a damper on things. Anyway, I went to restaurant for a little bit and then came home and went to sleep. That was kind of annoying too, because I went to sleep so early that I was up by three, but had no energy to really do anything.
I don't know what I'll do today. I want to avoid karaoke night at all costs.

Happy Halloween!
Hell yeah! I had a pretty good day off today. I woke up super late, but still managed to go out and get stuff for my Halloween costume. Up until last night I didn't really have an idea of what I was going to be, but I decided to go as Mr. White from Reservoir Dogs. After scouring stores for a little while I was able to find camouflage Berettas at K-Mart. Thank God, because I did not want to have to go into my attic looking for an old toy gun. The Berettas sealed the deal that a character from the Tarantino classic was a good choice. Had I been forced to go in search of a pretty solid looking old Uzi that's up there somewhere, I was just going to go as a bank robber. This hinged on whether or not I could find a cheap monkey mask. Like the rubber band kind preferrably, but I would have gone to a rubber mask if I had to. If I couldn't find a decent looking gun, I would have just gotten a plastic knife and gone as The Monkey Mask Killer.

Horror movies
So since last time I really wrote, some crazy shit has gone down. Work has been really fun and this past week the high jinx were never higher or jinxier!
Exciting drama at the beginning of the week followed by days filled with laughing and rocking out.
Let me see, the last night I worked was Thursday night and that was pretty chill. We weren't that busy, but i really wasn't feeling well at the beginning of the night so that was alright. Thursday was open mic and I was curious about various factors of how that would be. Who would be there? Would they be cool? I still had these two dudes who were drinking coffees forever so I had to hang out. That's the biz, I guess. Finally, the band start playing and everything was cool. The dudes left and then I left for a second only to come back and find that the place had almost completely cleared out. It was really surreal. Like I'm thinking for a second, wondering if I somehow lost track of an hour. It was really Twilight Zone like. But my one pain in the ass friend was there and that kind of started to make things suck. I feel bad for the dude because he's pretty much fucked for life, but still. So that was a bag of suck. Still though I was working with cool people and that made closing fun and efficient.
The next day I just emailed people and then went to get my tire fixed. I had been rolling my fullsize spare since I got back from NY in early August. It only cost fifteen bucks to patch it up. I should have done it sooner. Then I went and picked up Ryan and Jess to go to Baltimore. This was really fun because traffic was really messed up in our entire area. There was this armed robbery/ high speed chase/ shootout with the cops that had the highways shut down. This meant that every light in the entire area; Lemoyne, Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg had what Seth Charles would call "stacking".
I'm not being sarcastic when I say that it was fun though. Where I live traffic isn't typically bad at all really ever, so when it is suddenly really bad, you get to go into crazy cabbie mode and use all of your little tricks and shortcuts. We bypassed all of Market St. in Camp Hill by going up into the quiet neighborhoods. Then I came over the hill right by where my Grandma used to live. Hell Yeah! We went from the bypass to 17th st. in like five minutes. Jess has one of those tapes that you can put in your tapedeck to play your iPod, so we were cranking tunes the whole time. I've got to get one of those. I never looked into car iPod accessories because I always thought you had to tune in with your radio, which I've seen be troublesome.
Luckily the highway we had to take to Baltimore was open and traffic was fine. I think we got to Baltimore in an hour flat thanks to me being one of America's 50 most solid road drivers. Ryan drove back and we made it back really fast too. We listened to Werewolves and Lollipops and those two loved it. We continued the party back at Ryan's until about 4:30. Then I came home made a pizza, didn't eat it and passed out. Great night!!!!!
Today I woke up sort of early. I called Ryan and went over there. I guess it's the season but we've been watching a lot of horror movies lately. The Exorcist was the last one and I think Jess liked it, but Ryan and I having only seen the rerelease, were miffed at the lack of crabwalk. I've been watching horror on my own too. I've started Friday the 13th part 6 like four times, but never finish it. That movies is, uh not so good, but today the three of us watched the worst movie ever made in any genre. Leprachaun In The Hood.
This movie is an affront to everybody alive. Ice T is in it, Ryan said he loves the Leprechaun movies, it was raining like a bitch, so we were like "OK, let's check it out." Damn. I had never seen any movie from the series, so I didn't know that the Leprechaun could be turned to stone by his little amulet. Twice in the movie at key times, it's placed on his neck by somehow blowing up into the air, spreading out and landing perfectly around his neck. I don't think anyone could do that if they tried, let alone once in Harlem and then later in South Central. I didn't know where the heck the first scene took place (where a dude gets his afro pick jammed in his neck) but I just found an online script (Ryan will be psyched!)!!!!! http://www.lepconnie.com/scriptlep5.html. Anyway, then Ice T's character blasts the Leprechaun with steam instead of giving him back his magic flute and the steam blows the amulet up into the air and it falls around his neck and he turns into wood. Then Mack Daddy, Ice T's character moves to Compton or wherever and starts his own rap label.
Long story short! Postmaster P and his boys Stray Bullet and Butch are a rap group. They are all about the postive message, but when Mack Daddy won't give them a record deal they decide to rob his place and trash it. This is how the Leprechaun gets free. They piss off Mack Daddy. Leprechaun is after them because they steal his flute away from Mack Daddy. They try to pawn a guitar to afford new equipment and when they can't they just throw it in a dumpster. Leprechaun breaks Ice T's right index finger off yet he still shoots a gun with that hand for the rest of the movie. The DJ for the rap group knows all this chemistry shit and at one point set the Leprechaun on fire by mixing douche and toothpaste on a towel and then hooking it up to electricity. He gets fucked up from that but somehow magically heals. Every single black stereotype ever is highlighted and the heroes, after reading Leprechauns For Dummies, dress as hoes to get the Leprechaun to smoke a joint with them that has four leaf clovers in it.
At one point a cross dressing dude named Fontaine even tries to seduce the Leprechaun and gets killed! When they smoke the joint with the clovers it makes the Lep pass out and they steal the flute back. They need to flute to make people like their rap songs. Mack Daddy's shows up and kills Butch and then they do whatever leads the amulet to go up into the air and come down on Leprechaun's neck. But Postmaster P made some kind of deal with him so it cuts to him on a stage in Vegas where he's rapping and the crowd loves him even though he's just repeating the same dumbass rhyme over and over. Then it cuts to the side of the stage and the Leprechaun is there so you know he's ruling shit. Then Leprechaun raps, then his zombie fly girls sing a reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaally uncomfortably stupid song and the movie's over.
I think throughout the movie we all looked at each other like, "What?" about two hundred times. Some scenes were just downright terrible where others you could tell were intentionally funny and OK. Early in the movie Mack Daddy pulls a switchblade, then a small baseball bat out of his fro. That sets you up for a comedy, but there was really no other funny stuff for pretty much the whole movie. It was ridiculous!!!
Anyway, then I watched some of Shaun of The Dead and that made up for how sucky the previous movie was.
Damn, we've been listening to this a ton at work and it's killing. MGMT - Electric Feel
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJXar_27tWQ (can't embed? C'mon MGMT!!)
NOFX at Rams Head in Baltimore
First of all the place that we saw them was Rams Head Live which is right in inner harbor pretty much. The nicest thing for us was that you just stay on 83 take one exit and make a right and you're parking your car. The venue itself could not have been cooler. It seemed like they had 10 separate bars on three levels. I didn't count or even go to the third level, but that's how it seemed. You could see the stage from almost anywhere and they also had many TV screens scattered throughout as well. Really great place, and drinks were cheap for a show where you're pretty much captive. I took advantage of that and even managed to pass one or two off to J-dog.
The band played a ton of killer songs including Dinosaurs Will Die, which I was psyched to hear and they did a killer cover of Rancid's Radio too. They seemed to be having fun, but did, at some point, sort of make fun of the wishy washy Baltimore crowd. The coolest thing for me and Ryan was that we were running into friends from here and there throughout the night. Even some of Ryan's Jersey buddies were there, which surprised him. Anyway, wish I had gotten some pics in retrospect, but I didn't take my camera because I didn't know how wild shit would get. I was smoking a cig outside and got to say hi to Fat Mike right as he was heading from the bus to the stage, so that was cool.
I don't think I'll ever miss NOFX again if they come around. The show was fucking excellent and they have terrific fans who know how to have fun.

The Exorcist
I was messing with the radio feature in iTunes tonight because I wanted to see if I could find Coast To Coast, but didn't find it. I did find this really awesome oldies channel though called K- LUV, which is under Hits of the 70's, 80's and '90s. Anyway, on the channel I heard Ricky Nelson's song Young Emotions, so that lead me to seek out the song for download. Well, I stumbled across an awesome, amazing set of blogs!
This one focuses on compilations!

From the above links you can find their other blogs for the '60s, 70s and '80s! Total overload. I'm still just looking around, but I'm loving what I've found so far.

Yes
Not much to write about lately. I've been working for the past few days and that has been superfun and I made killer money on Monday, so that was awesome. Ahhh, going to work. That's one of my core values right there. At work we've been listening to The Shins Wincing the Night Away and the new Kings Of Leon a bunch. I guess a bunch of the guys are going to see Cold War Kids later this month in Philly, but I haven't heard their new album. The other night there were all these businessmen who were drinking a ton, so we ended up being there super late. It was just my managers and I and the DJ and we were doing our closing duties and they had the new Ben Folds on. I haven't paid attention to Ben Folds in a long time, but the GM told me a story about how he actually met them years back when they were just starting to get a following. Pre Brick.
So today's my day off and I'm just catching up with emails and about to listen to last night's Best Show. You can click on the link to the right and hear it too. I'll probably write more later.

weekend
Work is going good and I'm making more money each night that I go in, so that's really awesome. Especially after my horrible attempt to get a new job the other day which I can't remember if I mentioned on the blog. Anyway, I drove 170 miles for no reason all before two in the afternoon. All for nothing because I had to turn around and go to work before I even found the place I was looking for! So that sucked!

More Palin bullshit

9/19/08

I've been watching this show called Backstage Passport on Fuse. I don't know if each season of the show follows a different band and I just happened to get Fuse while the NOFX season was airing or what. Actually I don't really know when these episodes aired because I just watch it on demand. Thanks, Comcast! I love NOFX and the show basically follows them on this tour to all these different South American countries, Indonesia and Isreal. At least those are the ones I've seen. Anyway, if you have Fuse check the show out. It rocks.
Anyway, because I've been watching the show I wanted to actually buy a CD yesterday. The CD was the first NOFX live album, I Heard They Suck Live. On their website I had seen that they had another forthcoming live record, They've Actually Gotten Worse Live. The website said it came out November 20th. Anyway, I go to FYE yesterday and BOOM! There it is! Two months ahead of schedule. Even on Amazon it says 11/20, but if you click on it, you can purchase it. Anyway, I was somewhat miffed that the record store didn't have the earlier live album, but this new one is great. All the fun of I Heard They Suck, but done with mostly newer songs. There are even electric versions of acoustic songs like Whoops I OD'd and You're Wrong. I know there are a ton of people who hate NOFX, but fuck that! They're fantastic at what they do. On the other side of the spectrum I love Bad Religion, but I like comedy and dorkiness too, what can I say? So anyway, I'm listening to a lot more punk now. I mentioned that I got the new TVOTR, but I haven't listened to a track off it yet. Tomorrow, I need to look for new Kings Of Leon.
EDIT: I'm dumb. The NOFX album wasn't in record stores early, it was released 11/20/07. You'll have this.
This week was pretty sweet. I worked every other day, so that was cool. I'm making enough now that I never have to dip into savings for money anymore. My brother wrote and said that I should come out to Los Angeles, which is something I've been dying to do, but I'm not sure I'll have money. Damn, I would love to go out there though so I could go to UCB Jr.
9/15/08
A new week begins
The other day my Dad wrote me appalled because he saw Tokio Hotel on Jimmy Kimmel (because there was a chance my brother was going to be on). I have no idea about what they sing or anything and I couldn't find a picture on the web that I feel like posting. I guess they won the MTV best new artist award at the VMA's, which is cool as long as Katy Perry didn't win. I can't stand Katy Perry for some reason. I Kissed A Girl has the most compressed sounding vocals I've ever heard. God, that song was everywhere for a while and I hated it! I'm ready for some good new music for fall. After keeping my eyes peeled for the new TV On The Radio album for weeks I forgot about it for a week and a half and it leaked, so I must go find that tonight or tomorrow. Update: I just found it after 15 seconds of searching. I hope it's good.
At work we've been listening to a lot of Kings Of Leon lately. The song Knocked Up comes up on shuffle a ton. We were saying yesterday how we all really like the song and how the CD changer must like it too.
I have to work again tomorrow, so tonight I haven't really done much but watch Adult Swim and a ton of CNN. Big whoopty doo. I'll write more tomorrow.
9/12/08
Little update
So get this, OK, I noticed we have G4 now, so I started watching it here and there. I've become a fan of their show, Attack Of The Show, which I had been watching pretty much all week. So on Wednesday night, the one night I didn't watch it, because I was at Ryan's, my brother ended up being on it! He had an awesome segment where they did a parody of a video clip where a guy set fire to his car to get rid of wasps. I ended up catching the show the following day at noon. I thought he did great and thought that the segment was really funny.
Maybe I'll write more later.

I'm no expert
Lifted from the Rapture Ready board:
"I support Sarah Palin and will no doubt be voting for McCain/Palin. I also look forward to Sara Palin's future and think she would make an excellent president. She's clearly the best thing that's happened in politics that I can remember (perhaps since Ronald Reagan)."
Really? Some people make decisions pretty quickly, I guess. Yikes. I am also not hopeful about a debate with Palin v. Joe Biden because I think that Biden will be painted as a bully if he's too forceful with his points. I just see everything breaking bad for the democrats this fall.

Just another Saturday night
Yesterday,I went to the mall to get some new pants for work and I got an awesome jacket too! I can definitely wait for fall, but man do I wanna rock this jacket. After shopping I considered having a beer at the mall. Then I realized that it was about 6:00 so I headed to Coakley's for wings. They have the best wings ever. I lived off them for about two months last winter and it was heaven. Anyway, I get to Coakley's and on Fridays they have $5 pitchers. So I get a pitcher, and I'm talking to a dude I hadn't seen in a while. Anyway, what happens is I totally forget to order wings. Happy hour ends at 7, so the special is over. So that sucked, but whatever. It just gives me a reason to go back to Coakley's in the next few days. Speaking of the simply the best neighborhood pub, they just won the award for, I believe, the sixth year in a row. Anyway, I grab a six pack and then just head home.
Tonight I worked and that was pretty chill. I made better money than normal and that was pretty nice. I also have more shifts this week so that's awesome even though I have to work at 6am next Saturday. I have to make myself get up early this week for some prepro on that.
Got a cool email from Steve who would benefit greatly from the stories contained in the first season of Never Not Funny. Anyway, I meant to watch SNL tonight, but kind of got sucked into like a Crimefiles type of show instead.
I'm waiting on a new episode of Uhh Yeah Dude (see links), but maybe it'll be up tomorrow. Clips from eps 127 and 128. Subscribe in iTunes under comedy podcasts, you won't be sorry.

Radiohead Santa Barbara Webcast
EDIT: It has started! Go to http://www.radiohead.tv/
Little update: Not a bad show. Glad to hear Talk Show Host, Morning Bell and Go Slowly. I don't normally like Go Slowly, but I liked it tonight. I wish that the show had been shown in color though. Maybe next time.

Tell Me Why
MP3 of this song upped by Marqueemoon!!
After Borders I went and bought the blank CDs I need to begin to clear off my hard drive. That's going to be fun. Actually, I'm oddly looking forward to putting everything in order and cataloging all the music I've acquired (don't judge!!!) over the past three years.
Came home and watched The Smiths Live at Rockpalast on demand. If you have Comcast it's under Concert.tv. I'd seen parts of it on Youtube before and it was fun to watch it today.
Checked out the FOT chat for a little while. Didn't see any of the DNC.
