Band Of Horses 1/24/08

Last night my friend Ryan and I drove up to State College to see Band Of Horses, whose music you might recognize from a few car commercials. They were pretty good as were openers Tyler Ramsey and Cass McCombs and The Middle Class. I think BOH played about 15 songs and the crowd, though kind of subdued and quiet seemed to like it. Of course, they played The Funeral and Is There A Ghost, their two most recognizable songs but the set was great the whole way through. Never a dull moment. They covered a Credence song that I wish I knew the name of. Ryan knows maybe I can find out from him. They also covered some other band and though the song sounded familiar I cannot for the life of me figure out what it was. Every song they played sounded just like you were listening to the album, their singer is really great. I wish I knew more about them. All in all a great show to have it be my first this year.
