Well I guess that didn't work.

Hello All,
My winter has been both chill and busy. I started working for Amazon.com and it was pretty good but I was working all the time. Just today I got temporarily laid off from that job. That's alright because I couldn't stand working there now that the Christmas rush is over.

So I'm excited and looking forward to what has got to be my fifth stint of unemployment since April. Not that I'm collecting unemployment or anything. I should be so lucky! So that's really about it. I'm going to go watch Conan in a minute but first I shall give a brief recap of what I've been up to since my last post.
In October I began working for a new logistics company and it straight up sucked! I became really depressed and quit blogging or really doing anything but hanging with my friends every possible chance. I couldn't stansd not to be around people and my friends are like the coolest people on the planet hands down. In mid-November I started working for Amazon and had alot of fun during my time there. It was peak season with the holidays, of course, so we were working like 60 hours a week and it was nuts. I had no time to do anything but just work and occasionally go to Mike's or Coakley's.

I really need to get a haircut. I really need to do everything because with working so much I had no time to take care of certain priorities. My dad and my brother both came to town for the holidays and that was great. We watched a ton of movies and I was way behind on movie viewing so that was great. I attended a most excellent Christmas party and found out I'd get to work at Amazon for weeks longer than most of the people I worked with. Over the course of about a month they cut the staff from about 600 down to 35 and I got to stay, so I was pretty psyched. At least I didn't have the stress of being out of work and having to deal with the holidays at the same time. Whoa is me though, it is going to suck looking for a new job.

I've been staying at my mom's all the time because I just feel like it. She has cable and all that and I've been watching TV like never before. I haven't even been listening to music or anything though. My love of Radiohead has dwindled severely. For some reason I'm just not into music at all so it's nothing like a complete 180 on Thom and the boys. I wasn't seriously blown away with the new album like I thought I would be. I became so used to the power of the live versions of those songs that they lost something for me in studio form. then again I'm probably just not in the mood to really enjoy anything lately. It's real fucked up. but I will be posting more. Whoopty-doo!

Hey, John. Just wanted to stop by and say hey and see how you are. What a transition: to go from 60 hours a week to so few hours. Good luck with the job search and take care of yourself!
