Damn, I didn't even know that this weekend was Memorial Day weekend until just earlier today. So that's cool. I wonder if there'll be any parties this weekend. Ryan went to Jersey this weekend, which sucks. Last weekend at his place was such a blast. What can I say? I've got to meet up with George at some point this week, which I'm sure will be difficult since I work a whole two days out of the next seven. Maybe I'll post more later.

We Laugh Indoors
The past few nights at the restaurant were good. Last night I went to Ryan's and chilled with him and it was really fun. We were playing Guitar Hero and watching Southpark and SNL. It was seriously like the most fun I've had in this town for about two months. I went over there around four yesterday after I had burned through all the Awesome Show and Tom Goes to The Mayor that I could find on demand. So I call Ryan and get a bottle and go to his house. Over there we watched the Toodle Day episode of TGTTM which is definitely one of my favorites. Poor Tom. Later, Ryan's girl ended up coming over and I got to smoke and drink, so that was fun too. His lady is pretty cool and it's her birthday tomorrow, so that rocks. Today just did the usual stuff. Messed around online for most of the morning and then went back over to Ryan's for a few hours in the afternoon. It was cool. We were on his laptop and he and his roommate were researching all these festivals they want to go to this summer. Ryan's lady's friend was there too and she was really cool. I mean really, really cool.

Tonight

Edit: I forgot to mention that the reason that I need to file for unemployment is because Amazon called me on my day off to tell me I'd been let go. I was supposed to go fulltime at the restaurant but that won't happen for a number of days and even then it may only be thirty hours a week or so. I'm making great money there and I know that I could get by if I just had more hours. One of my friends is the manager of a brewery/restaurant/bar in downtown and he was telling me that he could give me hours there if I need a second job. SO whatever. Right now I'm not too stressed about it and as Dr. Tobias Funke would say I'm just waiting for the universe to show me what I should do. Or something like that.

Have the lights gone out for you?

I got off work early today and I was psyched. Didn't really do much this afternoon just caught up on sleep. Missed Drake and Josh, but it's usually a rerun anyway. I need to look into getting DVDs of that show. I wonder if they have seasons available. Tomorrow I get to work at the restaurant and I'm super happy about that. I love working there, and it's just nice to have a job that you actually really like going to. I'm usually either indifferent about a job, or I totally hate it, but the ENC is mad fun and I've already seen how much money I can make there. I had my best night last Thursday and made about $130, which was really sweet. I hope I can make that kind of money steadily and then can quit Amazon. Amazon has actually not been that bad lately but I still don't really like going to work there. It's kind of a bummer.
Awww yeah, I got a new episode of Uhh Yeah Dude to listen to tonight. Now that Never Not Funny has gone to a pay format, UYD is probably tied with The Best Show for my favorite podcast. I hope to sign up to the NNF premium podcast soon, I just haven't gotten around to it. It's still a good one though. I subscribe to too many podcasts and I've really got to take a look at what I actually listen to and what I can do without. Two seperate Sound Of Young Americas, The 40 Year Old Boy (new Mike Schmidt podcast, which is decent for just being one guy) Comedy And Everything Else, a new one from Todd Glass and Jimmy Dore, which is really good. There are just too many to listen to now that I don't have a job where I can just listen to shows all day long. Ah, that was sweet. But whatever forward ever backward never!

Let me sleep on it

Jacquetta month rolls on. Reel around the fountain.
It's a shame that now, when there isn't an episode of The Best Show we don't get an old ep for the podcast. That's the way it used to be and I heard some great stuff as a result. Anyway, I am looooving the last episode with Paul F. Tompkins and Philly Boy Roy live in studio. Here's a great interview with Tom Scharpling. He's down with the boys! Actually, have a look around that site because there are also great interviews with Jay Johnston and the like!
Next Sunday I see Radiohead in Virginia! So psyched. Anyhoo, not much to write about right now. Last night made record money at the restaurant and tonight I listened to Crossroads and OPP back to back.
